I am beginning a journey today to a new place to live. That journey won't take me very far, just from Lansdowne to Northeastern Philadelphia, but it is a move nonetheless. And moving, by its very definition, is a lot of work. But it's not all just packing boxes and lugging furniture. (Unfortunately, that part does still have to be done.) But that's not what this diary series is going to be about. Follow me below the fold to find out more.

Some of you may be aware of NN08 (Netroots Nation 08) others of you may not. I'll not go into the details at this time. One of the sessions that will be occurring is on Care Packages. Dkos member known as Ninepatch will be conducting this session. Ninepatch has been sending packages for several years and has helped others in their efforts to do the same. Besides showing others how to compile and send a Care Package the practical point will be to send 100 Care Packages from this session. And for that reason I come to you and ask for your assistance.
We have a nifty feature on EENR blog that I see some people aren't using. This may be because you don't know about it, so I thought I'd write a short diary.
See those links in the left-hand sidebar just beneath the John Edwards quote? The ones that say Home Page, Progressive News, Health Care & Wellness, etc.? Did you know those are are subject pages?
Each of our subject pages is for a category of posts that fit that issue, with the exception of the home page. Click on one of those subjects, and you will see a list of all the posts on this blog that fall under that subject heading, at least if the blogger used the correct tag.
So, how do you add your post to one of our subject pages?
So you've mastered the simple HTML we've included in the "Getting Started" and now you're ready to add pictures and embedded video into your comments and diaries. Here's a crash course on how to do just that.
If you have questions about this site, please post them here, or email them to progressiveblueblog at gmail dot com. Eventually the FAQ Page will develop from all your input.
Welcome to Progressive Blue, a blog to provide a discussion space for progressive issues. You can read more about our evolution in Progressive Blue: Who We Are.

Thank you for visiting our home for promoting Progressive issues.
If you would like to contact Site Administrators with Questions or Suggestions, please post a comment here or email progressiveblueblog at gmail dot com. Email is better, since we don't always remember to check this page for new comments.
Hopefully someone in our Online Community will have an answer for you, in short order.
If you are having trouble signing in,send us an email with your screen name and registererd email. We will reset your password manually and send it to you as quickly as we can. Understand this is a manual process (a human will be handling it, not a computer) so you may not get an immediate reply depending on when you send it and what that human may be doing at the moment. We will do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible. Sending in multiple request, though, won't make things go faster!
MISSION STATEMENT: We are a community committed to advancing the progressive agenda through open and civil discourse and by supporting strong progressive down-ticket candidates.
This is a Progressive Populist blog, unapologetically!
Discussion on a range of progressive, populist issues and bold transformative change to better humanity is welcome and encouraged. Progressive Blue stands for substantive dialogue and discourages the emphasis to make politics into a sports or money event. We prefer content based on ideas, issues and how to attain human progress.
We are striving for constructive dialog that elevates the debate. Please take the time to express yourself with non-offensive language. Use of profanity is not recommended. We also think that a reply to every comment does not always enhance discussion or communication. Sometimes less is more. Please exercise discretion in these matters, too.
