Much to be done to make the world a better place. America is better than this! ~ John Edwards
Let´s make it happen.
Our hard won delegates must stay in play, especially when JRE calls for them to do so.
JRE even won Holmes County FL with 49% of the vote:

Here are the FL Results via CNN:

John got 14% Statewide and did his least best in populous South Florida (Palm Beach,Broward,Miami-Dade). He did very well outside those areas. Unfortunetly CNN does not have a breakdown by CD's. FL is so heavily Gerrymandered , so, I'm not surprised. Because it is so heavily Gerrymandered for "Minority" districts, BHO's best performance is concentrated in a handful of Congressional Districts in South Florida.
While I conur with Dean's decision, Florida is not comparable to Michigan, in Florida all the Dem Candidates were on the Ballot receiving National Coverage via the Debates, etc.
They just didn't technically "campaign" there though BHO's national ads were playing in FL, and possibly HRC's also. (-8.50/-7.44) "If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion." Dalai Lama
He had all the answers.
He sounds, far and away, more like JRE than either Clinton or Obama do.
Plus, we KNOW where Ralphie boy stands vis-a-vis big, predatory corporations and finance companies, not to mention Washington lobbyists.
I'm thinking of throwing my support to him.
Anybody else want to discuss it? These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. -- John 16:33
On the other hand, JRE is a Democrat with a capital D. That´s why JRE suspended his campaign. JRE did that for the good of the party. JRE realized he did not have enough support to win the nomination and he did´t want to be in the position of causing a split in the party or being a "king or queen maker".
So, in my opinion, but that´s my opinion and interpretation, that´s why JRE has not endorsed either Clinton or Obama. He can use his influence to influence the party platform, but he doesn´t want to influence which candidate wins the nomination (as one is not better than the other).
I think any Edwards supporter would be doing a disservice to Edwards, in supporting Nader or suporting the notion that JRE should run as an independent. JRE won´t do that, so that´s a dead end at any rate and such a push from Edwards supporters could be potentially embarrassing to JRE and even weaken his power within the Democratic Party.
I don't think Nader's campaign is about getting votes. I think it is about demanding freedeom of speech and not letting it be undermined by either corporate media or party structures (which, whether we like it or not, are becoming more and more similar, just as he says).
I was mad at him in 2000, but no longer blame him. The Supreme Court, Jeb Bush, R Secretaries of State and Diebold would have ensured a Bush victory anyway.
We should never squelch free speech in the name of strategy. If our nominee cannot keep Dem's votes from going to Nader, then something is seriously wrong with our nominee.
